It all started on a hazy morning in Osaka.




Jason, Asako, and I met up with Tomoko and Akira at the station
and went to Kyoto. The area around this theater(Minamiza) is where Kabuki began.




Across from this theater people sit beside the Kamo river and picnic. An old tradition in Kyoto.



These are pictures of the Kennin-ji Temple complex.
This was the first Zen temple founded in Kyoto around 1202.
